However, that isn't a fix all, because here is an example of another site that won't display the video regardless if the site I've managed to get the videos on Yahoo home page to play by adding to the IE Tools>Compatibility View Settings list. I know that Adobe Flash Player is installed and works in some cases because I know from past experience the Yahoo>Finance "Interactive Charts" requires the same Adobe Flash Player that these videos claim to need :-(Īdditionally, the same sites with videos that claim they need Flash Player to view, display and run just fine using Firefox or Opera browsers. I went to the Adobe site, ran their test and verified that the Adobe Flash Player installed is the correct version for IE 11 in a Windows 7 OS.
